Edon2000 Limited was founded in 1999 as a building company providing services to the South East Region.  Our continued commitment to offer quality and our dedicated work ethic has seen the company expand into a very successful BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) lead contractor within the construction industry.

    OVERVIEW

     

    Edon2000 is a building contractor specialising in property management.  Strategically based, we have a London office and a head office located in Surrey which enables us to provide services to clients in and around the M25 area.

    Our experienced direct labour force is distributed across London and the Home Counties.  We predominantly serve:

    •          Social Housing Landlords; and

    •          The Private Sector

    Edon2000 are currently working to expand our services to Local Authorities, Educational Departments, Government Offices and Property Maintenance.

    We offer a comprehensive range of contract services supported by integrated support services that enable us to maintain a high level of operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

    Experience gained has enabled Edon2000 to provide a structure which focuses on providing quality services to both clients and colleagues alike.

    We value all of our clients highly and take great pleasure in working with them.  We are currently main contractors for the following clients:

      Guinness Trust Housing – Responsible for the management of a number of housing estates within the South East, South West and West Regions. Works include void refurbishment, planned maintenance and responsive maintenance (including 24 hour emergency call out service).

    Edon 2000 also has a Working in Partnership agreement with London and Quadrant Housing Association, who are one of the largest Social Housing Landlords in London.  Services provided in recent years range from Void Refurbishment, Legal Cases, Vulnerable Tenants and Aids & Adaptations Works. 

    Within the past 5 years edon2000 has received the Silver Award twice for Best Specialist Contractor to the London and Quadrant Housing Trust.

    HEALTH & SAFETY

     

    Edon2000 considers on-site safety to be of paramount importance.  All employees receive training in safety awareness and all operatives undertake safety training on an ongoing basis.

    Health and Safety plans are provided in order to meet contract requirements, which assist in providing a safe working environment for both operatives and the general public.

    Method Statements and Risk Assessments are mandatory and it is our company policy for all operatives to have read and understood the documents prior to works commencing on-site.  We also monitor our sites at regular intervals to check on compliance standards.

    Edon2000 provides continual training programmes and development to ensure high standards of workmanship, this also helps maintain high levels of Health & Safety compliance in all areas.

    WORKING WITHIN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

     

    Edon2000 are a community focused contractor who takes their social responsibilities seriously.  We believe that an Edon2000 project should provide true value and benefits to a local community. 

    Our aim for the future is to provide construction activities on behalf of our clients, which can help to provide opportunities for local residents and businesses for possible employment and skills-based trade training.  We have previously worked closely with local training providers and community groups in order to maximise these opportunities.

    We believe that an established building company such as Edon2000 has a duty to put something back into the local community.  Our continual aim is to make a commitment to provide added value to its clients and local communities by means of establishing and providing employment and trade skills training opportunities for local tenants, young people and subcontractors.
